Beliatta
We went for a walk after driving to Beliatta and this lovely stall holder gave us some cake to celebrate Sri Lankan new years.
This lovely lady was waiting for a bus so Sean stopped and offered her a ride back to the coast. Turns out she teaches English at a local high school. We’ve stayed in touch and now we have new friends in Sri Lanka.
Dodra Head Lighthouse
Dondra Head is the most southern point in Sri Lanka.
Tangalle
You don’t see many designated swimming areas but we spied the red and yellow flags at Tangalle.
Kudawella
This is a small fishing village south of Hiriketiya.
